QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Treasury Department Long Term Trainee (student)

General Qualifications:

We’re looking for candidates who are willing to be a part of BASF Türk Kimya, one of the leading chemical companies in the world, at our Ataşehir office as a “Long Term Intern” starting in June 2021 until the end of May 2022;

• You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business and economics with a focus on finance
• At least 3 – 4 or 5 days of the week, you will be able to attend the internship regularly online, only 2 days of this will be done with physical participation in the Ataşehir office,
• First experience as an intern in a bank, large corporate or audit firm is preferred,
• Knowledge of corporate finance and risk management principles,
• Good knowledge of MS Office. Experience in using Bloomberg and SAP is an advantage,
• Intercultural awareness as well as strong social and communication skills,
• Excellent spoken and written English skills. Knowledge of German is a plus

Job Descpition:

• You will support the team executing the daily cash management operations, implementing risk management strategies and financing solutions
• Calculation and monitoring of FX risk positions
• Preparation of ad-hoc management reports
• Conduct Bloomberg-based research for monthly economic market updates
• Administration of data, general reporting tasks and the preparation of presentations are also part of your job profile
