Our company is looking for a Logistics Intern to join our team.
A Logistics Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the logistics and supply chain operations of an organization. They are responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products.

General Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Eagerness to learn
• Flexibility

Job Description

• Support Logistics team with general duties of planning, scheduling, and purchasing inventory
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Updating of customer orders/date requirements via phone, fax, email or other media such as on-line customer web portals and systems;
• Updating all systems timely and accurately on load notes, pricing and accessorial;
• Support the logistics team in resolving any issues or discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
