QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Risk Assurance Services team is looking for a new team member to be a part of our expanding practice in internal audit and internal controls market theme. PwC Risk Assurance Services team is performing internal audit and internal controls in a wide range of areas and looking for Interns in our Istanbul location.

• Either a currently enrolled 4th grade student or a new graduate, preferably from a reputable university from Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Management Engineering or a similar discipline
• Good understanding of business processes and competency in data analysis techniques
• Analytical thinking/problem solving skills – Works systematically and logically to resolve problems, to identify causes, relationships and implications,
• Excellent business writing, verbal communication and analytical skills
• Teamwork – Works collaboratively with others to achieve group goals, motivates people to work together to accomplish business results
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Job Responsibilities

• Perform risk-based process audits in banks and other financial institutions such as insurance, factoring, leasing and consumer finance firms, support/manage the team and prepare reports
• Perform process reviews, identify the risks, evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and develop recommendations related to improvement areas
• Provide advisory services to banks and other financial institutions in order to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
• Act as a consultant to help financial institutions improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their internal systems
• Provide support to financial institutions to help them establish better corporate governance frameworks in compliance with related regulations
