Job Description

1. Value Stream Mapping Analysis:
   • Analyze value stream maps to identify potential areas for process optimization. Assess workflows, material handling, and information flow.
2. Action Plan Development:
   • Define specific actions based on the potential improvements identified in value stream maps. Develop detailed plans for implementation.
3. Stakeholder Coordination:
   • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to initiate and implement process improvement actions. Ensure effective communication and alignment of objectives.
4. Support in Capacity Planning:
   • Assist in the preparation of capacity plans. Analyze production schedules, workload, and resource allocation to optimize capacity utilization.
5. Process Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate documentation of process changes and improvements. Ensure all relevant information is recorded and accessible.
6. Team Leader Support:
   • Provide support to team leaders in various operational tasks. Act as a point of contact for operational inquiries and assist in problem-solving.
7. Performance Monitoring:
   • Monitor the impact of implemented process changes. Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of improvements.
8. Feedback and Reporting:
   • Regularly provide feedback on process optimization efforts. Prepare and present reports to management regarding progress and outcomes of process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background:
   • 3rd or 4th year undergraduate and postgraduate students in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Technical Skills:
   • Preferably with experience in value stream mapping.
   • Basic understanding of capacity planning and production scheduling.
   • Familiarity with data analysis and performance metrics.
   • Competence in using software tools for process modeling and analysis (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Visio).
3. Analytical Skills:
   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
   • Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
   • Attention to detail in analyzing workflows and identifying inefficiencies.
4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
   • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
   • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and team members.
